Privacy & Cookie Notice
How Padakannaya & Co handles website enquiries, analytics choices and personal data.
Effective date: 30 July 2026
This notice explains the personal data processed when you visit this website or contact Padakannaya & Co through it. It also explains the choices available to you.
Personal data we process
When you submit the enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, optional telephone number, message and your acknowledgement of this notice.
Our hosting provider may process limited technical and security information, such as IP address, request time, browser information and error or security logs, to deliver and protect the website.
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity will process website usage information only if you accept optional analytics. This may include pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device information, navigation events and interaction or session-replay information. We will configure these tools so that contact-form contents are not intentionally collected.
The website stores your analytics choice locally in your browser so that it can remember your preference.
Why we process it
We use enquiry information to respond to the request you initiated, communicate with you and, where appropriate, take steps towards a professional engagement.
We use necessary technical information to operate, secure and diagnose the website. If you consent, we use aggregated analytics and interaction information to understand website performance and improve usability.
We do not sell personal data, use website analytics for targeted advertising or add visitors to marketing lists merely because they submitted an enquiry.
Cookies and your choices
Optional analytics remain disabled unless you select “Accept analytics.” Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from using the website or enquiry form.
You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal applies going forward; a page refresh removes already-loaded optional trackers from the current page.
The Google Maps panel on the Contact page is not loaded automatically. If you choose to load it, Google may receive technical information under its own privacy terms.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers for website hosting, form handling and, only after consent, analytics. These may include Netlify, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Google Maps is loaded only when requested by the visitor.
Ubersuggest may be connected to authorised Google Analytics and Search Console reporting. It will not have a separate tracking script on this website.
We may disclose information where required by law, regulation or a competent authority, or to professional advisers and service providers who need it for the stated purpose and are subject to appropriate obligations.
Retention and security
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described, professional or legal obligations, dispute handling and security. If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, the applicable engagement and statutory record-retention requirements will govern the resulting records.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and limit access to people and providers who need the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your rights and grievances
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about your personal data, correction or completion, erasure, withdrawal of consent or grievance redressal. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
To exercise these rights, withdraw an enquiry-related consent or ask a privacy question, email enquiry@padakannaya.com. If a concern is not resolved, you may use the complaint mechanism available under applicable data-protection law.
Confidential and children's information
The public enquiry form is not a secure client-document channel. Please do not submit passwords, identity documents, tax records, bank details, confidential client information or other sensitive records through it. Existing clients should use an agreed secure channel.
This website and its professional services are not directed to children. A person under 18 should not submit personal data through the website without involvement of a parent or lawful guardian.
Professional information disclaimer
Website material is general information and does not constitute audit, tax, legal, investment or other professional advice. Viewing the website or sending an enquiry does not by itself create a client or professional relationship. Advice should be obtained for the relevant facts and current law.
Updates
We may update this notice when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
